6.16.1. USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection ports and charging connectors

Front

The front USB connection port is located under the centre console box, behind the front cup holders.

Do not connect, disconnect or operate the USB device while driving. Doing so can be a distraction. If distracted you could lose control over your vehicle and cause an accident or serious injury.

Rear

The rear USB charging connector is located on the back of the centre console box.

The USB charging connectors can be used only for charging external devices.

Connect a USB device into the connector. Charging will start automatically. For USB charging connectors, maximum output is up to 5 volt, 15W, 3A.

The external device will be charged continuously while the power switch is in the ON position.

Some mobile devices cannot be charged depending on their specifications.

  • Do not force a USB device into the connector. Depending on the USB connector, inserting the USB device tilted or upside down may damage the connector. Make sure that the USB device is connected correctly into the connector.

  • Do not use a reversible USB cable. Using the reversible USB cable may damage the connector.
