6.17.1. How to use V2L system
Do not connect the V2L power source to a power outlet or switchboard in the house and use it as a power source.
Never plug in or unplug the power cord with wet hands. There is a risk of an electric shock.
Do not splash water on the power outlet. There is a risk of an electric shock.
Do not plug sharp metal objects (pins, wires, etc.) into the power outlet. There is a risk of an electric shock.
Do not disassemble, repair or modify the V2L system components. There is a risk of an electric shock.
When you are using electric appliances outside your car, stop using them and unplug them from the power outlet as soon as it thunders. There is a risk of an electric shock.
Do not leave the vehicle when using V2L system.
When turning on the V2L system, make sure that the power supply of the connected electric appliance is turned off.
If the power of the appliance is on, electric appliances may suddenly start operating.
Do not charge electric vehicles or plug-in hybrid vehicles using the V2L system.
Insert the plug of an electric appliance to the power outlet of the V2L connector.
If you feel that the plug of an electric appliance is loose when you plug it into the power outlet, it is recommended to contact a NISSAN certified eletric vehicle dealer.
Only one electric appliance can be connected to each outlet at the time.
Do not plug the AC adapter directly into the power outlet.
Depending of the weight of the AC adapter, the plug may come off and heat may be generated.
If the appliance does not have a power switch, first, plug the appliance to the power outlet and then turn on the V2L system.
Damage to the device or loss of data (from laptop or external drives) due to a sudden power outage is not covered by the warranty.
Damage to the vehicle caused by external devices connected to power outlets is not covered by the warranty.
Use only electric appliances that have CE mark affixed to them.
The power outlet of the plug of the device may become hot. Please be careful when removing devices.
Do not connect an external power supply (solar panels, external batteries, etc.) to the power outlet.
When using electric appliances inside the vehicle, keep them in a stable place to prevent them from falling. There is a risk of injury.
When using electric appliances outside, the vehicle with the V2L system, be careful not to pinch the power code in doors or windows.
When not using the V2L system, close the outlet lid.

.If dust or dirt accumulates in the power outlet, it may cause a short circuit.

The V2L system cannot be used when the Li-ion battery level is below the preset minimum battery level.
The V2L cannot be turned on when the vehicle power switch is not in the ON or OFF position.
Some appliances with high rated power consumption (hot plate, etc.) require the use of a single outlet. In such cases, do not use other outlet together with other electric appliances.
If you use more than one electric appliance, the electric appliances may not function properly depending on the combination of the appliances.
To save the standby power consumption, it is recommended to turn off the AC ON switch if the V2L system is not in use by any appliances.
Do not use electric appliances that require horizontal installation inside the vehicle as they may not function properly.
Do not use electric appliances in dusty areas, areas exposed to direct sunlight, in areas exposed to rain or water (except for waterproof appliances).
