6.5.9. Charging status display

The charging status display appears for approximately 30 seconds when:

  • DC fast charging is started and the power switch is placed in the OFF position.

  • A door is unlocked during DC fast charging and the power switch is in the OFF position.

(1) Li-ion battery charge level

  • Current Li-ion battery charge level is displayed.

(2) Estimated charge time

  • When charging, it shows the estimated time to charge the Li-ion battery to a full level as well as the estimated time to 80% level. The time is calculated based on the actual electrical power.

  • The actual charging time may be longer than the displayed charging time in cold weather.

  • When the Li-ion battery temperature control system operates, longer charging time may be displayed.
