9.16.1.6. How to change the set vehicle speed
To cancel the preset speed, use any of these methods:
Push the <CANCEL> switch. The set vehicle speed indicator and the cruise indicator will turn grey.
Tap the brake pedal. The set vehicle speed indicator and the cruise indicator will turn grey.
Turn the Cruise ON/OFF switch off. The ICC indicators will go out.
To reset at a faster cruising speed, use one of the following methods:
Depress the accelerator pedal. When the vehicle attains the desired speed, push and release the <SET> switch.
Push up and hold <RES±> switch to increase speed in 10 km/h (5 MPH) increments.
Push up and quickly release <RES±> to increase speed by approximately 1 km/h (1 MPH).
To reset at a slower cruising speed, use one of the following methods:
Lightly tap the brake pedal. When the vehicle attains the desired speed, push the <SET> switch release it.
Push down and hold <RES±> switch to decrease speed in 10 km/h (5 MPH) increments.
Push down and quickly release <RES±> to decrease speed by approximately 1 km/h (1 MPH).
To resume the preset speed after ICC cancel, push and release the <RES±> switch to any direction. The vehicle will resume the last set cruising speed when the vehicle speed is over 20 km/h (12 MPH).
