WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND A THERMIC VEHICLE?

An electric vehicle produces no emissions in driving whereas a conventional engine emits gasses such as CO₂ or NOX as a by-product of the energy created in the combustion process. Such as the ability to pre-heat or cool the vehicle remotely (from your phone or by scheduling in the vehicle) so it is at the right temperature before driving.

HOW DO I CHARGE A NISSAN TOWNSTAR?

You can charge your Townstar at home, work or at any public charging point. To charge at home, all you have to do is plug your electric vehicle into a designated electrical socket using either the cable for home-charging (EVSE), or the cable attached to your wallbox for a normal charge (Type 2 Mode 3).

To charge your EV when you’re away from home, Townstar is available with a connector for a rapid charger (CCS). This connector allows you to use all public charging network.

IS CHARGING A NISSAN TOWNSTAR EV CHEAPER THAN PETROL OR DIESEL?

Due to the efficiency of the electric powertrain and the lower cost of electricity versus petrol or diesel, electric vehicles have lower costs to "fuel" than conventional engines.
