HOW TO CHARGE
There are several ways to charge your Nissan LEAF. At home & at work, most EV owners opt for using an AC Charger. [5]
On the go? A wide network of public charging stations is available, as well as an increasing number of Quick Chargers offering fast recharge up to 80% of capacity in around 60 minutes.
Whether you're at home or at a charging station, you can set a charging timer right from the touch-screen display or using the NissanConnect services [6]. You can also save on your electricity bill by setting your Nissan LEAF to charge at off-peak hours.
PEACE OF MIND IS STANDARD
Every Nissan LEAF is backed by a New Vehicle Limited Warranty that includes 60- month/100 000 km (whichever occurs earlier) powertrain and electric vehicle system coverage and 96-month/160 000 km (whichever occurs earlier) Lithium-Ion Battery coverage.

[3] Figures quoted are for a 40kWh (Nissan LEAF) battery. Time dependent on charging conditions, including charger type and condition, battery temperature as well as ambient temperature at point of use. Indicated rapid charging time requires use of a CHAdeMO rapid charger. The Nissan LEAF is designed to support the majority of journeys in daily life and is equipped with charging safeguards to protect the battery during repeated rapid charging sessions in a short period of time. The time taken for successive rapid charging can take longer if the battery temperature activates the battery safeguarding technology.
[4] The maximum AC charging power from the LEAF is 6.6 kW. The specified charging time is based on charging with a type 2 charging cable (mode 3) 32A.
[5] Connecting a mobile phone to use NissanConnect should only be done if the car is parked safely. Use of the system should always be in accordance with the rules of the Highway Code. Drivers should only use the system when it is safe to do so. Users should be aware of the potential for hands-free technology to distract attention from the road, which could impact on having full control of the vehicle
